Restaurante Las Trojes || Morelia

I didn't have classes, so, mommy and I decided to go to Morelia, to try a new restaurant: Las Trojes. 

On our way to Morelia, we were listening to 80's music: Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Rod Stewart, Toto, Roxette, etc. It was amazing. I love road views; especially those with beautiful sunsets. I have a kind of obsession for them. I have even spent 2 hours staring at them!

We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 pm: it was already full! There were just free tables in the smoking area, which was a good idea because I loved the decoration of that space. Actually, there was a tree (it is something I like because they are respecting the nature, and it applies in every place I go, if there's nature inside of it, I love it).

I'll be brief. As a starter, they served us some cucumbers (covered in vinegar and spices) and chopped prickly pear. Also, they gave us freshly baked bread; some of the bread was stuffed with cheese, and my favorite one: large sesame sticks. There were more starters on the table, accompanied with Mexican sauces, which you'll see in the photos.

Here comes the best part: the main dish. I ordered a fillet heart, which had garlic flavor, a big potato with cheese in it, and some steam veggies, that actually, they served me the veggies I don't like, but in this occasion, I loved them. They were so delicious! (zucchini, carrot). Mommy ordered shrimps, which were seasoned in olive oil, served with white rice and roasted banana, what an excellent combination!

As a dessert, I ordered a brownie. Which was pretty tasty. You MUST go to this restaurant!💓

Then, on our way back home, we went to Starbucks, where we bought a hibiscus refresher.😋

No tuve clases, así que mi mamá y yo decidimos ir a Morelia, a probar un nuevo restaurante: Las Trojes.

Durante nuestro camino a Morelia, estábamos escuchando música de los 80's, grupos tales como Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Rod Stewart, Toto, Roxette, entre otros. Fue asombroso; me encantan los paisajes mientras viajo en carretera, especialmente los atardeceres, tengo una obsesión por ellos. Incluso, he pasado hasta dos horas viéndolos!

Llegamos al restaurante alrededor de las 2:30 P.M. pero ya estaba lleno; sólo había mesas libres en el área de fumadores, lo cual estuvo bien porque me encantó la decoración de ese espacio. De hecho, había un árbol (es algo que me gusta mucho porque están respetando la naturaleza, y eso aplica en todos los lugares que vaya, mientras respeten eso, amo el lugar).

Seré breve. Como entrada, nos sirvieron pepinos (bañados en vinagre y especias), y nopales. También nos dieron pan recién salido del horno; uno de los panes estaba relleno con queso, y mi favorito fue un palito de ajonjolí. Hubo en la mesa otras entradas deliciosas acompañadas de salsas mexicanas, las cuales verán en las fotos.

Aquí viene la mejor parte: el platillo fuerte. Ordené un corazón de filete, con sabor a ajo, una papa con queso en ella, también, y por último verduras cocidas, que de hecho, me sirvieron las verduras que no me gustan, pero en esta ocasión, las amé. Estaban súper deliciosas (calabacita, zanahoria). Mi mamá se ordenó camarones sazonados en aceite de oliva acompañados con arroz blanco y plátano asado, deliciosa combinación.

Como postre, me ordené un brownie, muy sabroso. ¡DEBEN ir a este restaurante!💓

Después, en nuestro camino a casa, fuimos a Starbucks, a comprar un refresher sabor hibiscus. 😋
